Clinical Supervision
Under the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) rules, Robert Price LPCC, is a qualified Supervisor for Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCC's). In addition, effective January 1, 2022, Robert Price LPCC became a qualified Clinical Supervisor for ACSW's and AMFT's.
Robert prefers to supervise graduates from San Diego State University employed in public mental health or educational programs. Cost is on a sliding scale and based in meeting for either 1 hour per week for 10 Supervision Hours or 2 hours per week for up to 40 supervision hours. Prior supervisee's who have successfully completed their hours and sat for (and passed) their required clinical exam, may be made available for references. Focuses of supervision are Scope of Practice areas where Robert holds particular expertise and include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Therapy for Psychosis, General Therapy and Psychotherapy Practices, Confidentiality, and working with individuals with specific diagnoses, including Severe Mental Illness, Substance Abuse and Co-Occurring Disorders, Title 9 Diagnoses & Diagnostic practices, Care Coordination with other professionals.

Graduates from San Diego State University (SDSU) in one of the LPCC Track Programs may be provided Supervision either one weeknight or one weekend day for 1 or 2 hours.(no split supervision) Preference is given to APCC's who work for public mental health providers.

Graduates from San Diego State University (SDSU) in one of the LMFT or LCSW Track Programs may be provided Supervision either one weeknight or one weekend day for 1 or 2 hours (no split supervision in the same week.) Preference is given to those who work for public mental health providers.

Graduates from other Public and Private Universities in one of the Clinical Track Programs including LPCC, LMFT and LCSW may be provided Supervision either one weeknight or one weekend day for 1 or 2 hours per week.
